TV O Coeur Program
What is this program?
The “TV 0 Coeur” project offers a FREE 10 hours training in video programming to four Vancouver Island Communities (Campbell River, Powell River, Comox and Nanaimo). This program is offered to the Francophone and French immersion program youth from 9 to 14.
After the training, the products of their creativity will be uploaded on the website www.tvocoeur.ca.
When is this training?
We offer a 2 days training - December 21st and 22nd, 2009 from 9:00am to 2:30pm in the office of the Francophone Association of Campbell River at 891, 13th Avenue, Campbell River. No equipment is required.
Transportation from Comox Valley to Campbell River is FREE. The bus will leave from “Ecole au Coeur de l’Ile” in Comox at 8:00am and return at 3:30pm. *** A transportation authorization form is required and available on the web site of the AFCR at www.afcr.bc.ca.

This program, that is part of a community development approach, will allow them to learn technical knowledge which will be a valuable tool to create and share information all across British Columbia.

Nanaimo Workshop

 


Location: Oceane school 1951 Chemin Estevan Nanaimo


Date and time: March 20th and 21st 2010 from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm


What to bring: You will only need to bring a lunch and a snack for the two days. We will supply all the rest.


What you'll do: The workshop will teach you how to create animations and movies. Once your creation is ready it will be uploaded to our site http://www.tvocoeur.ca


How much does it cost: The workshop is FREE.


Who can attend: Students from grade 4 to 10 who are in immersion or in programme francophone.


Attention space is limited register soon so you won't be disapointed.
